In general, the only problems we get are with small or over-compressed JPEG files. Photographs, negatives, transparencies and illustrations are all scanned in house at very high resolutions and consequently present very few problems, whereas a small digital image from say a 1 Mega pixel camera can be a bit of a challenge!
If you are not sure of the suitability of your JPEG image, we offer a free service where you can simply attach a JPEG to an email, telling us what size and product you are considering and we will reply with our opinion of what can be achieved.

Please email images that are under 5mb. Larger files should be sent on a cd along with photographs or negatives to smudge gallery 117 commercial st. London E1 6BG.
